Peel by YOY

I love this so much. To put it simply this is just a wall mounted lamp, however it creates a wonderful illusion that the wall paper is peeling away from the surface. The bright illumination given off makes it look as if you’re peeling away the paper to reveal another dimension beyond the walls surrounding you. A very cool effect and something I would love to own.

DIY Animal Hooks - Martha Stewart Kids’ Crafts
Does it get any cuter than animals bums?! I don’t think it gets much easier either. If you are painting impaired like myself, you could always decoupage your animal behinds on beffore adding your painted hooks.

Copper Pennies + Clear Risen = Beautiful Floor
If you want to try this: Save this picture and go to your local Big Box Home Improvement store and ask them what type of Clear Resin would work the best and what kind of under-lament would be needed. In this picture they had a concrete floor to work with. Yes, it would be cheaper than the average floor, if you did the work yourself. The price, including the cost of the pennies would probably range from $2.50 to $3.50 a square foot.

One of my favorite uses for frames, is as a hiding place. A piece of framed art is the perfect distraction for an ugly thermostat, electrical box or even a secret safe.

Take any framed art you have (preferably in a wood frame) and attach hinges to one side of the frame. You may have to use a shadow box frame if you are hiding an object that sticks out of the wall some. Screw the hinges into the wall and you have yourself a super-secret hiding method.

Pablo the Object Frame - display and frame your favorite objects with the flip of a shelf.
I think this would be particularly cute in a kitchen - one day it can display a bowl of fruit and the next it could hold the cookbook you are using to make dinner.
